When Opera Lafayette requested that we refresh their 30-year old brand, it was music to our ears. Famed for their historically accurate interpretations of French baroque operas, the company wanted a dramatic new identity that could harmonize classical roots with a contemporary sensibility. Casting the cap initial “O” in the lead role, with a modern acanthus leaf as anchor and era-inspired backgrounds, we composed a bold, flexible system that scored a universal chorus of approval.
